FIG is known for its fabrics. We work hard to offer you the best materials, not only from a travelling standpoint, but in terms of quality. More about our SAFARI fabrics.

" When it comes to travel, French Terry checks a few things off the list! "

New French Terry
--------------------------------------------

People have been raving about French terry for a few years now! Often used in the athletic / casual wear sector, this buttery soft material is highly comfortable! We simply had to use it for the Fall 2017 collection!

French Terry (sometimes called terry cloth) is typically smooth on the outside and made up of little loops on the inside (kind of like a towel!). The small thread loops on the back of the fabric absorb moisture and wick it away from your body, keeping you dry. This makes it a perfect option for travel and light activity.

But that’s not the only thing! When it comes to travel, French Terry checks a few things off the list! Particularly pleasant to the touch, it offers optimal comfort. It is not too light, not too heavy –hence suitable for all kinds of climates and temperatures. It is also wrinkle-resistant, and easy to pack in your suitcase!

FIG offers several loose and casual styles in this fabric. You’ll love wearing this textured look on your next trip!

Bamboo blend
--------------------------------------------

Back this season: our classic SAFARI fabric made from bamboo viscose, organic cotton and spandex! Developed specifically for FIG, over 5 years ago, this silky soft, stretchy and hypoallergenic fabric offers optimal sun protection (UPF 50). It also absorbs moisture, keeping you cool and dry! Most of all, it drapes beautifully, and offers incomparable softness!

This fabric also has a great eco-friendly story! Bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants on the planet. It regenerates quickly, on its own, without reforestation. It is a culture that requires very little to no chemical fertilizers or pesticides. In addition, the bamboo’s root system contributes in preventing soil erosion. This fabric is also made from organic cotton (free of herbicides, pesticides or GMOs).

What’s not to love about these extra soft SAFARI options? They are perfect for your next adventure!
