Casual, relaxed summer dress. Classy knee length. It’s hard to find a summer dress that’s neither maxi length nor excessively short. I am surprised that so many of Fig’s dresses are a few inches shorter, since the brand seems to appeal to a mature demographic. In my late 50’s I do not want dresses anywhere above the knee. Please make a greater selection in this length. Fit is immaculate… at 5’3”, 127 lbs size xs is perfect. The fabric is whisper thin and lightweight, yet fully opaque. Easy wash and dry, wrinkle-free, perfect for travel.

The Austin Dress is fantastic! I love the style, the notched collar and v-neck look great next to the straight lines of the body. The dress is light weight and felt great even in the heat. Definitely effective for sun protection, the only parts of me that got sunburnt were parts that weren't covered by the dress. The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars was that the fabric feels somewhat stiff. I am hoping that that will resolve with a few more washes. Still very comfortable to wear. Small slits in the bottom hem let me tie a small knot in one side and it gave the dress a little more shape which made it look like I will be wearing it all summer long.
