Organic cotton
Organic cotton is grown using methods and materials that have a low impact on the environment by reducing C02 emissions, water usage and by helping maintain sustainable farming practices.
The organic cotton fibres are natural fibres grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, insecticides or herbicides, or GMOs (Genetic Modified Organisms), according to the principles of organic agriculture, which is a production process that sustains the health of ecosystems, soils and people.
At FIG, our organic cotton is GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified, which is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain.
By choosing our GOTS certified organic cotton, you are assured that your garments do not use pesticides, insecticides, or any other toxic chemicals, and that it was produced in ethical working and social conditions.
